There is an undeniable
timelessness in Gospel music; it’s a genre flowing with so much milk and honey
that never dries, seasoned with flourishing chords and fathomless expressions.
Pastor Israel proves his talents once more with his signature style of music. A powerfully laced soundtrack, mixed with a flawless percussion that is both scintillating and stunning.
“Never Go Down” does not disappoint, as its undertone is imbued with a message of love and faith at the very core, it inspires a lifestyle that yields towards absolute love and trust in Jesus, even in failing and troubling circumstances.
“When the systems of the world are failing… All things are mine. I can never go down.” This is a powerful message from the song as Pastor Israel, popularly known as PI, yields himself totally, sustained with his powerful male vocal, whose tone and expression perfectly emphasizes the message of faith, belief, strength, and trust.
“With Never Go Down,” PI artistically crafted a masterfully-balanced juxtaposition of sparkling and refreshing perspective in his rhythm and sound.
The song is
no doubt a classic and a true confession of the unwavering love and power of
Christ today, tomorrow and forever.

Nigerian’s
music industry has evolved no doubt, looking back to where it is coming from,
one can hardly believe the speed at which it got to this point. It didn’t get
here by magic, as at 2016 to 2021, the Entertainment and Media Industry is estimated
to produce income of up to $2.8 billion according to a report by PricewaterhouseCoopers
LLP (PwC) report.
The big break
for the Nigerian Music scene came in just like the book of Ecclesiastes 3: 1, which
says “To everything, there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the
heavens.” Finally, the world decided it was time to hear the African Sound, and
Nigeria was a strong pioneer of the African sounds.
The influx of the big stars and record labels from 2004 saw the Nigerian Music Industry evolve into a mega-industry that adds to the GDP of the country. Our local artists within this period began collaborating with the foreign artists, we have seen Dbanj and Kanye West, PSquare and Rick Ross, Frank Edwards and Don Moen, now we have our very own artists earning up to $100,000 per show.
Now, from 2016 to 2019, Nigeria sounds and tunes have become globally recognized and a force to reckon with universally. Asides the foreign collaboration, our artists are getting mega endorsements from international brands like Coca-cola, Nike and other top players. These brands understand the power of numbers and they know the Nigerian sound command the kid of numbers they need as a brand to stay in the spotlight.
Our music is
now a commercial exchange in the musical ecosystem and every country is dealing
and importing our sounds. The world has indeed awoken to the Nigerian sounds
and it is only just beginning.
