KIRK FRANKLIN RELEASES NEW ALBUM – LONG LIVE LOVE!

The legendary Twelve-time GRAMMY AWARD winning artist, songwriter, and producer, Kirk Franklin, released his new single LONG LIVE LOVE through his record label, Fo Yo Soul, on the 31st of May 2019!

Kirk Franklin has proven uncountable times that he knows the heartbeat of the gospel industry, being one of the architects that have defined urban gospel’s present direction, the producer/musician/songwriter clearly adapts with style and class into what the audience is seeking for in music that moves them spiritually and entertaining.

For more than two decades Kirk Franklin has soared as a trailblazer with gospel music, singing, performing, writing, producing inspirational sounds which have transformed the way gospel music is received by Christian and secular music lovers and fans.

His legacy so far includes twelve GRAMMY® Awards, 43 Stellar Awards, nine NAACP Image Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, three BET Awards, and an American Music Award, among other feats and achievements.

LONG LIVE LOVE is Franklin’s thirteenth studio album and his first since his last album 2015’s Losing My Religion. Never one to slow down, his album “Love Theory” has held the #1 spot on Billboard’s Hot Gospel Songs chart for 17 weeks straight.  While dominating at #4 on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart is his hit, the infectious ode to God.

Additionally, the “Love Theory” music video premiered on the Kirk Franklin YouTube channel and “Love Theory” and “OK” are among the album’s ten beautifully crafted tracks that are sure to uplift the listener’s spirit, leaving them feeling inspired and ready to hit the dance floor.

As a master in bridging several genres into absorbing soundtracks, The Gospel music maverick sets the bar and pulls no punches about the kingdom of God in propagating the spread of the gospel through gospel music. In celebration of the release, he is hosting listening events at churches across the country in cities like New York City, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Augusta, and Nashville. He will also kick off the 26-city LONG LIVE LOVE Tour on July 11th in Austin, TX. After which, he will return as host of the ninth season of the music competition show Sunday Best when it premieres on BET on June 30th.
